These are used on MEI827 and 1204B to allow use of capillaries up to 5/8" in length.This can be ordered with the machine or installed in the field. This option extends the stroke of the EFO to allow for the longer capillary.
PNEUMATIC DEEP ACCESS LONG STROKE EFO
This is used on MEI1204B to allow use of capillaries up to 1" in length.This should r installed in the factory. This option extends the stroke of the EFO to allow for the longer capillary.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL BOX
This is external box containing a digital temperature controller wire for use with MEI workholder. This is used to add a heated workstage to an existing machine in the field, or to upgrade from an analog temperature control system.
POSITIVE EFO CARDS
These are used on the MEI827,829,829Z, and 1204B. Single wire size card come in 0.7, 1.0, 2.0, and 3 mil wire sizes. Two wire size switchable cards come in 0.7-1.0, 1.0-2.0, and 0.7-2.0 mil wire sizes. Standard machines come with a 1.0 mil card but any of the preceding sizes may be substituted on new machines.
UTI NEGATIVE EFO
These are used on the MEI827,829,829Z, and 1204B. This replaces the standard positive EFO card supplied with machines and may be ordered on new machines or installed in existing machines in the field.
HEATED TRANSDUCER
These can be used on all wire bonders. If ordered for existing machine a control box is needed.
HEAVY WEIGHT
This is an additional weight added to the MEI907 for use with larger sizes wire and ribbon.
UTI GENERATORS
For bonding larger wires on all wire bonder MEI offers a 20watt and 30watt ultrasonic generator. These replace the existing 10watt generator standard with the machines.
MICROSCOPES
MEI offers a full range of Leica (formerly B&L), Nikon and Wild microscopes for all of its products.
MEI907 WIRE CLAMPS
MEI offers a full range of wire clamps for the MEI907. 30, 45, and 60 degree taped clamps, 30 45, and 60 degree compliant jaw clamps, and 60 degree ribbon clamps. All of these clamp styles can be ordered with a new machine or installed in the field. To add 60 degree wire or ribbon clamps to an existing machine the transducer must have a 60 degree wire feed hole in it. If the transducer does not have this hole MEI will add it at our factory for an additional charge.
MEI1204W WIRE CLAMPS
MEI offers a full range of wire clamps for the MEI1204W. 30, 45, 60 degree jeweled wire clamps, 60 degree ribbon clamps and 90 degree vertical feed wire and ribbon clamps. All of these clamp styles can be ordered with a new machine or installed in the field. To add 60 degree wire or ribbon clamps to an existing machine the transducer must have a 60 degree wire feed hole in it. If the transducer does not have this hole MEI will add it at our factory for an additional charge.
SPOTLIGHT TARGETING
This feature is available for all wire bonders. This optical system projects a 2 mil dot on the part at the point the bond tool will contact the part to allow for greater speed and accuracy in targeting.
2" WIRE SPOOL
This can be added to any wire bonder to replace standard 1/2" wire spool holder. For ribbon on 2" spools please or 2" ribbon spool holder.
